[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Seit 2002 setzen wir das Konzept der „offenen Arbeit“ um. Unsere Kinder können sich frei im Haus bewegen und nach Absprache mit den Erziehenden entscheiden, wann, wo und mit wem sie spielen möchten. Das bedeutet auch, dass sie Räume und das Außengelände alleine oder in Kleingruppen ungestört und eigenverantwortlich nutzen können. Denn Kinder haben ein Recht auch in einer öffentlichen Institution Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für sich zu finden!

Die pädagogischen Mitarbeitenden stehen im direkten Austausch mit dem Kind und geben ihm Hilfestellung bei der Gestaltung seiner Bildungs- und Lernwege. Sie setzen gezielt Impulse in allen Bildungsbereichen, geben den Kindern Sicherheit und die nötige Motivation, um sich neuen Herausforderungen zu stellen und neue Ziele zu setzen.

Die Beobachtung der Kinder ist der wichtigste Bestandteil unserer pädagogischen Arbeit. Dies geschieht in regelmäßigen Abständen durch die Bezugserziehenden. Die Beobachtungen werden dokumentiert und mit den anderen pädagogischen Mitarbeitenden im kollegialen Austausch besprochen. Sie fließen, nach Absprache mit dem Kind, in dessen Lerngeschichte ein und ermöglichen die Gestaltung von nächsten Impulsen für die Lernwege eines jeden einzelnen Kindes.
Die Lerngeschichten werden gemeinsam mit Fotos, selbstgemalten Bildern und vielem mehr in einem Portfolio (Ordner) gesammelt. Für die Kinder sind diese frei zugänglich, können jeder Zeit angeschaut und von ihnen ergänzt werden.

In wöchentlichen Teamsitzungen werden alle pädagogisch und organisatorisch relevanten Themen besprochen.

Um den Kindern den Übergang zur Schule zu erleichtern, besteht eine kontinuierliche Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeinschaftsgrundschule Lindenbronstraße. Durch unsere Entwicklungsdokumentation und der Zusammenarbeit mit den Eltern, können wir die Kinder gemeinsam auf einen positiven Schuleintritt vorbereiten.

Familienzentrum Ehrenfeld

[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Der Verbund unserer Kindertagesstätten – Evangelische Kita Fröbelstraße und Kita Kinderarche – zu einem Familienzentrum verbindet Köln-Ehrenfeld und Neu-Ehrenfeld. Die Menschen hier im Stadtteil stammen aus vielen verschiedenen Herkunftsländern. Daher wollen wir ein Ort der Begegnung sein, wo Offenheit und Gastfreundschaft im interreligiösen Zusammenleben möglich sind.
Kinder, Eltern, Geschwister, Großeltern und andere Menschen aus der Umgebung sind herzlich willkommen. Wir unterstützen, stärken und fördern Kinder und Familien – bilden ein Netzwerk rund um die Familie. Auf unserem großen Außengelände finden Kindern Freiflächen zum Ballspielen, Fahrzeuge fahren oder Kreide malen, einen Sandkasten, eine Vogelnestschaukel, ein Klettergerüst, eine Rasenfläche sowie ein Spielhaus. Besonders sind darüber hinaus unsere liebevoll angelegten Gemüse-, Kräuter und Pflanzenbeete.

Zusammenarbeit mit Eltern

[/fusion_text][fusion_text]Grundlage unserer pädagogischen Arbeit ist es, dass Eltern und Mitarbeitende gemeinsam Verantwortung für die Begleitung des Kindes übernehmen.

Bereits in der Vorbereitung zur Eingewöhnung beginnen wir, uns mit den Eltern über ihr Kind auszutauschen. Diese sensible Zeit des Kita-Starts wollen wir gemeinsamen gestalten, damit das Kind von Anfang an eine große Sicherheit erfahren kann.
Durch kurze tägliche Gesprächsmöglichkeiten, terminierte Entwicklungsgespräche, Elternabende und Aktionen wird dieser Austausch weiter gepflegt. Darüber hinaus beraten wir regelmäßig mit dem gewählten Elternrat, welche Themen alle Eltern beschäftigen, welche Veränderungen und Verbesserungen notwendig und möglich sind.

Über die gesetzlich geregelte Mitwirkungsmöglichkeit der Eltern in Elternbeirat und Rat der Kindertagesstätte hinaus laden wir Eltern ein, sich aktiv in die Arbeit der Kindertagesstätte und des Familienzentrums einzubringen, beispielsweise bei der Planung und Durchführung von Festen oder besonderen Angeboten.
