Marte Meo unterstützt Kinder dabei, eine positive, gesunde Persönlichkeit zu entwickeln, konstruktive Verhaltensmodelle aufzubauen und wichtige personale, emotionale und soziale Fähigkeiten zu entfalten, die Kinder im Laufe ihrer Entwicklung in unserer zunehmend komplexen Welt benötigen.

Die Videointeraktionsanalyse MarteMeo wurde von der Niederländerin Maria Aarts entwickelt und ist mittlerweile weltweit in Schulen, Beratungsstellen und Pflegeeinrichtungen etabliert. Es ist ein ressourcenorientiertes Programm zur Entwicklungsunterstützung und Verbesserung der zwischenmenschlichen Interaktion und Kommunikation.

Auch in der Kitaarbeit ist Marte Meo als Haltung und Methode eine zunehmend wichtige Entwicklungsbegleitung. Marte Meo kann sich an alle bestehenden Konzepte andocken und fügt sich somit gut in den Kitaalltag ein. Marte Meo findet nie separat statt, vielmehr geht es um die eigene (Fachkraft-) Haltung, in jeder Begegnung und Interaktion mit einem Gegenüber.

Grundlage der Methode ist das genaue Beobachten und Analysieren von Interaktionsmomenten im Alltag. Kleine, wiederkehrende Momente werden mit Video aufgezeichnet und so genutzt, um gezielt Entwicklungsunterstützung zu geben und mehr Lebensqualität zu ermöglichen. Durch die Videoaufnahmen und ihre Auswertung mit der MarteMeo-Kollegentrainer*in werden Initiativen, Signale, Bedürfnisse des Kindes besser erkannt. Die Fachkräfte wissen, was das Kind braucht und wie sie es in seiner Entwicklung unterstützen können.

Marte Meo bietet eine Vielzahl an Gelegenheiten, die Sprachentwicklung und den sozial- emotionalen Bereich der Kinder zu unterstützen.

Seit 2018 werden die Mitarbeitenden in unserem Verband kontinuierlich ausgebildet und von einer Fachkraft kompetent begleitet, um den „Marte Meo Blick“ auf die Kinder zu verinnerlichen und täglich umzusetzen.
